Dr. Alexander Waldman

Co-Founder & President

Dr. Alexander Waldman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a triple Ivy League trained orthodontist. He received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also received the National Board Achievement Award.

Dr. Waldman completed his fellowship in orthodontics at Harvard University and received the esteemed Joseph L. Henry Award for Excellence in Clinical and Research Training, awarded to the top graduate student amongst all dental specialties. At Harvard, Dr. Waldman also received a Master of Medical Sciences degree and studied the effect of collagen mutations on temporomandibular joint degeneration, establishing an innovative research model that has led to many other studies and sparked the development of Dr. Waldman’s expertise in clinical management of jaw disorders and complex bite issues. Dr. Waldman was also recognized for his abilities to care for a wide range of children and adults with awards from the Society of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities and the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry.

Casey Bull

Chief Operating Officer

Casey Bull, is the chief operating officer at MyOrthoVA, a company that supports orthodontic and dental practices with expertly trained virtual assistants. She earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and first started working in the orthodontic industry as the Practice Manager for Dr. Alexander Waldman in 2013. From there she became a practice consultant for The Invisible Orthodontist. Ultimately moving to a Global Director role within the company where she helped drive TIO’s mission to provide member practices with marketing and business management expertise. Her profound understanding of the industry extends to the realm of digital marketing, where she excelled in overseeing full-suite strategies, including website development and optimization, paid advertising campaigns, local SEO optimization and more.

Chris Bentson

Advisor

Chris Bentson is a partner of Bentson Copple & Associates, LLC based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The company serves the orthodontic community by performing practice valuations, providing recruiting services, and negotiating transactions with both buyers and sellers. Chris has been working with orthodontists regarding the business aspects of their practices for over thirty years, and was recently awarded the "Outstanding Contribution to the Specialty Award by a non-orthodontist. from the AAO. He spends much of his time working within the orthodontic industry. He currently serves as President of the AAOF (American Association of Orthodontists Foundation) and an advisory committee member for The AAO Bulletin. In addition, he is a frequent guest lecturer at AAO meetings, regional orthodontic society meetings, orthodontic resident programs, study clubs, and orthodontic user meetings. Chris has authored dozens of articles published on the business of orthodontics in numerous orthodontic trade publications. Chris has personally visited over one thousand orthodontic practices in the United States, Canada, and Australia during his career. He enjoyed excellent relationships with consultants and vendors within the orthodontic community.
